Introduction
The Anona Security app is the official companion application for the Anona security camera lineup and smart home devices. Developed by Anona Security Technology Limited — a company based in Dover, Delaware — the app provides a unified platform to manage Anona Aurora 4K security cameras, Anona Pano 360° security cameras, Anona Lucio wireless security cameras, Anona Holo Wi-Fi smart locks, and the Anona SmartBase storage hub from a single, intuitive mobile interface.
Whether you're checking your Anona Aurora security camera live feed in stunning 4K resolution, reviewing recorded events from your Anona Pano security camera with its full 360° panoramic view, or granting keyless entry through your Anona Holo smart lock via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, the Anona Security app puts complete home protection in your pocket — with no subscription required for core features.
What sets Anona apart from competitors like Ring, Arlo, and Blink is its commitment to subscription-free security. While most camera brands push monthly cloud plans, Anona delivers continuous protection without recurring fees. Live view, event tracking, push notifications, video playback, and device control all work out of the box without paying a single monthly charge. This makes Anona an excellent choice for budget-conscious homeowners who refuse to pay ongoing subscription costs just to use the cameras they already purchased.
The Anona Aurora 4K security camera is the flagship of the lineup. Delivering true 4K Ultra HD resolution, it captures four times the detail of standard 1080p cameras, making it easy to identify faces, license plates, and other critical details. The Aurora also offers a solar-powered option for truly wireless outdoor installation — no wiring, no outlet required. With built-in night vision and AI-powered motion detection, the Anona 4K security camera provides round-the-clock surveillance regardless of lighting conditions.
For users who need maximum coverage, the Anona Pano security camera offers a 360° panoramic field of view in 4K UHD resolution. Instead of installing multiple cameras to cover a single room, one Anona Pano can monitor an entire area with zero blind spots. The motorized pan-and-tilt mechanism combined with motion tracking automatically follows movement across the scene, ensuring nothing goes unnoticed.
The Anona Lucio security camera is designed for users who want reliable wireless security at an accessible price point. Featuring 2.5K resolution, the Lucio delivers sharp, detailed footage without requiring a wired power connection. Its compact form factor makes it ideal for both indoor and outdoor placement, and its long battery life means fewer interruptions for recharging.

App and camera work well but you need to log in every time with UID and password. It would be much better if it remembered my login credentials or supported biometric authentication like Face ID.

No subscription model is the biggest selling point. I was tired of paying Ring and Arlo monthly fees just to use my own cameras. Anona gives you everything you need for free. The SmartBase for local storage is a great addition.

The Anona Holo smart lock works flawlessly with Apple HomeKit via Matter. I can lock and unlock my front door with Siri, and the fingerprint reader is fast and reliable. Love the integration with the security cameras too.

Beyond cameras, Anona extends into smart access control with the Anona Holo Wi-Fi smart lock. The Holo supports multiple unlock methods including fingerprint, PIN code, physical key, and app-based remote access. It integrates with Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and Apple HomeKit via Matter, making it one of the most versatile smart locks available. Voice commands like "Hey Siri, lock the front door" or "Alexa, is the front door locked?" work seamlessly, bringing true smart home integration.
A standout feature of the Anona ecosystem is the Anona SmartBase — a centralized hub that provides expandable local storage and unified management for all connected devices. The SmartBase eliminates the need for cloud storage subscriptions by offering robust on-premises recording, keeping your video data under your complete control.
On privacy and security, Anona takes a strong stance. All video streams are encrypted during transmission, and the company states that it cannot view your video data — ensuring end-to-end privacy protection. No data is shared with third parties, and camera access defaults exclusively to the authorized account owner. For users concerned about cloud surveillance and data harvesting, Anona's privacy-first architecture offers genuine peace of mind.
The Anona Security app features AOV (Always-On Video) recording, allowing compatible cameras to maintain continuous monitoring without gaps. Combined with the intelligent event tracking system, users receive instant push notifications when motion or unusual activity is detected, with the ability to review timestamped footage directly in the app's playback timeline.
The app supports device sharing, letting you invite family members and friends to view camera feeds and control shared devices without giving up full account access. This makes it easy for households to stay connected and informed about home security without juggling multiple accounts.
The Anona Security app is available in multiple languages including English, German, Italian, Spanish, Vietnamese, Thai, Romanian, Polish, and Japanese — reflecting Anona's growing international presence. Whether you're in North America, Europe, or Asia, the app provides a localized experience tailored to your region.
