Imou Life

Imou Life has been my go-to camera app for over two years now. I have 6 Imou cameras around my property and this app handles them all flawlessly. The AI human detection is remarkably accurate — I used to get dozens of false alerts from my old system, but now I only get notified when there's actually a person. Live view loads fast and two-way talk works great with my doorbell camera.

Good app overall. I use it with 3 Imou Ranger cameras indoors and a Cruiser outdoor camera. Setup was straightforward — just scan the QR code and you're connected. The timeline playback for SD card recordings is really useful. Only giving 4 stars because the cloud storage subscription is a bit pricey for multiple cameras. Otherwise, solid app for home security.

Best security camera app I've used. Previously tried Wyze and Blink but Imou Life is significantly better in terms of video quality and reliability. The smart scenes feature is fantastic — I have it set to turn on my floodlight camera's spotlight whenever motion is detected after sunset. Push notifications are instant and the app rarely crashes.

We use Imou Life to monitor our retail store with 8 cameras connected to an Imou NVR. The multi-device dashboard makes it easy to check all camera feeds at once. I especially like the device sharing feature — my business partner and security team all have access with different permission levels. The PC client is very useful for our office monitoring setup.

I bought an Imou Ranger camera specifically to watch my dogs when I'm at work, and the Imou Life app makes it so easy. The two-way talk feature lets me talk to my dogs and calm them down if they're barking. I can pan and tilt the camera from the app to follow them around the room. Video quality is crystal clear even in low light. Love this app!

Very reliable security app. I've been using Imou Life for about a year with 4 outdoor cameras. The app is well-designed and easy to navigate. AI alerts work well — it correctly identifies people vs. cars vs. animals most of the time. Cloud storage works seamlessly. My only complaint is occasional lag when viewing live feeds on slower WiFi. Overall highly recommended.

Switched from Ring to Imou and couldn't be happier. Imou Life app is intuitive and fast. No monthly fee for basic features unlike Ring which forces you into a subscription for basic playback. The SD card recording with free local storage is a huge plus. AI detection is accurate and I love being able to set custom alert zones.

Solid camera management app. Using it with Imou Cell Go solar cameras — perfect for my rural property where running power cables isn't practical. Battery life monitoring in the app is handy. The smart scene automation could use more options but what's there works well. Good value for the money.

Excellent app for home security! I have Imou cameras in every room plus the doorbell. The family sharing feature is perfect — my husband and parents can all view the cameras with their own accounts. Setup was easy and the app guides you through everything step by step. Night vision footage is surprisingly clear.

Great app that keeps getting better with updates. I appreciate the PC client which lets me view all my cameras on a big screen at my desk. The timeline scrubbing for playback is smooth. Would love to see Apple Watch support and better integration with other smart home platforms. Otherwise, this is a top-tier security camera app.
