The Kiwibit app is the official companion application for Kiwibit smart devices, including the Kiwibit Beako Bird Feeder 4K AI Camera and Kiwibit home security cameras. Available free on iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play), it lets you: watch live 4K video from all connected cameras, receive AI-powered push notifications for people, vehicles, packages, pets, and bird activity, identify over 10,000 bird species with the Birds Tab (Kiwibit Plus), manage custom alert zones, and access up to 60 days of cloud recording history (Kiwibit Plus). The app supports 17 languages and is designed around the philosophy 'Keep it Simple. Make it Better.'

Kiwibit Plus is the premium subscription that unlocks the full Kiwibit experience. With Kiwibit Plus you get: (1) Extended Cloud Storage — up to 60 days of recording history; (2) AI Smart Notifications — real-time alerts for people, vehicles, packages, pets (security cameras) and bird/nuisance animal activity (bird feeder cameras); (3) Custom Alert Zones — focus motion detection on specific areas; (4) Birds Tab — a dedicated catalog of all identified bird species and highlight clips from your feeder camera. Kiwibit cameras and devices only support 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks. 5GHz Wi-Fi is not supported. If your router uses a combined (dual-band) SSID that broadcasts both 2.4GHz and 5GHz under the same network name, you may need to temporarily separate them or specifically connect to the 2.4GHz band during initial setup. Most modern routers allow you to set different SSIDs for each band. After successful pairing, the camera will continue connecting to the correct 2.4GHz band automatically.

To cancel Kiwibit Plus auto-renewal: On iOS: Open Settings → tap your name/Apple ID → Subscriptions → find Kiwibit → tap Cancel Subscription. On Android: Open Google Play Store → tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Kiwibit → Cancel subscription. Important: Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period. With a Kiwibit Plus subscription, you get up to 60 days of cloud recording history per device. This means you can scroll back through your camera's recorded events, motion clips, and bird visits for up to 60 days. Without a Plus subscription, cloud storage is limited. Local storage via SD card (where device-supported) provides an additional storage option regardless of subscription status. Cloud recordings are stored on Kiwibit's encrypted servers, and all data transmitted is encrypted in transit. You can request data deletion at any time via the app or by contacting [email protected].
