Love this bird feeder. Received the bird feeder as a gift. Was super easy to install the birdhouse on a tree then switched to a pole to deter squirrels. Instantly attracted lots of birds. App is easy to use and addicting to watch. Love the feature that identifies the type of bird and the info it shows about the birds. Fun capturing the images on my phone.
Got this birdfeeder for Christmas. A little tricky setting up Wi-Fi, but it works fine. I really love the clear photos. I identified some birds that I did not know before. Only thing is, when I first got it, it would identify which type of bird. There were these three little dots you could touch and the name and information of the bird would come up. It does not do that now and I don't know how to fix it.
Similar to other reviewers, I'm enjoying the app. But recently, it stopped detecting the type of bird. There used to be 3 little dots that you could click on and it would tell you the type. Now it's not there and that was a big selling point for why I purchased this feeder.
Used to identify birds that it captured on video. It no longer does that. Many other bird cam feeders do. I'm very disappointed. The live view and recording still work fine though.
Love watching the birds but I only had identification for one week. It keeps going offline. Setup was easy and the video quality is clear and sharp.
It's been set up for a week. The bird ID stopped working, there were 3 dots on each vid I could click to ID the bird. 4 days ago it went away so there's no ID info. It'd be nice if there was something to indicate which vids are new and which ones were viewed. If I check in the morning and again in the evening, there's nothing to show how far back I need to go. My Blink cameras have a dot next to each vid that hasn't been viewed yet.
I have had this feeder since Christmas 2025. I was able to view the bird species. As of January 2026 I can no longer view the species name. I tried contacting the help center and no response. The live view and video recording itself still functions.
The camera setup process was straightforward. However, some features like cloud storage access and video playback have had issues. I've reset and re-downloaded the app but have had difficulty getting full functionality. The live view feature still works.
