XMEye Pro is the enhanced mobile video surveillance app developed by Hangzhou Xiongmai Information Technology Co., Ltd. (marketed under HANGZHOU JF SOFTWARE CO., LTD. / Zhejiang JAIFY Co., Ltd.), one of the world's largest OEM manufacturers of CCTV equipment. XMEye Pro enables you to remotely view live video, play back recorded footage, control PTZ cameras, and manage DVRs, NVRs, and IP cameras — all from your smartphone with an improved, modern interface.
Whether you're a homeowner monitoring your property, a small business owner keeping an eye on your store, or a CCTV installer deploying Xiongmai-based systems for clients, XMEye Pro provides a streamlined mobile monitoring experience with cloud-based P2P connectivity and enhanced usability over the legacy XMEye app.
What Is XMEye Pro?
XMEye Pro is the upgraded companion app for millions of Xiongmai-powered security camera systems worldwide. It serves as the primary mobile interface for XM-compatible IP cameras, DVRs (Digital Video Recorders), and NVRs (Network Video Recorders). The app is available for free on both the App Store and Google Play, with ad-supported monetization and no premium subscription required.
Compared to the original XMEye app, XMEye Pro features a refreshed user interface, improved navigation, and a more polished overall experience while maintaining full compatibility with all Xiongmai/XMEye cloud devices.
How XMEye Pro Works
XMEye Pro connects to your security devices using P2P (peer-to-peer) cloud technology, eliminating the need for complex port forwarding or DDNS configuration. Simply scan the QR code on your DVR, NVR, or IP camera, and the app establishes a secure connection over Wi-Fi or cellular data using the device's unique serial number (UID). The app also supports direct IP/domain connections for LAN access.
For desktop users, XMEye VMS provides a free Windows application for multi-channel monitoring, supporting up to 64 devices simultaneously. A web-based cloud portal at xmeye.net (and v2.xmeye.net) also allows browser-based access to your cameras.
