Works well in office setting. Camera functions as doorbell rather than security device. Video requests arrive within 6 seconds on good network. Two-way chat works fine.

App crashes appear fixed. Features include motion notifications, light control, and speaker communication. Main issue: 60-70% of motion activated camera recordings don't work despite showing thumbnails and timestamps.

Device sensitive to inclement weather. Battery stopped charging after 3 months with no clear replacement source available. App itself works when the hardware cooperates.

Worked since day 1. Almost a year now. Zones would be nice. If you don't want notifications set the home and away properly or go pay for a subscription to a brand name service. Do not expect name brand service from a free app. Some of y'all might have camera hardware issues.

This app is great. I love not having to pay a subscription. It needs to have a way to delete more than one notification at a time. If deleting more than one at a time were available I'd update my rating to five stars.

Update: it now allows live view which is great, even if it's on a trial basis. Gave it two more stars. Connection has improved compared to initial release.

How to Set Up WowCam

Getting started with WowCam takes just a few minutes:

1. Download the WowCam app from the App Store or Google Play
2. Register an account using your email or phone number
3. Add Device — Power on your DophiGo or Reoqoo device and ensure it's in pairing mode (usually indicated by a blinking LED or voice prompt)
4. Connect Wi-Fi — Select your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network, enter the password, and follow the on-screen pairing instructions
5. Start Monitoring — Your device appears in the device list within a minute, ready for live viewing

Cloud Storage

WowCam provides free cloud storage for doorbell-triggered video clips — every time a visitor rings your doorbell, a 10-second clip is automatically saved to the cloud at no cost. For users who need extended recording across all devices, optional premium cloud storage plans are available as in-app purchases.

Platform Compatibility

The WowCam app requires iOS 12.0 or later for Apple devices and Android 10 or higher for Android devices. WowCam is also available on Apple Vision Pro (visionOS 1.0+) and macOS on Macs with Apple M1 chip or later (macOS 11.0+). The app supports 8 languages: English, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, and Traditional Chinese.
