Vuebell is a free smart home security app by Netvue for WiFi video doorbells and IP cameras — real-time HD streaming, two-way audio, motion detection zones, night vision, cloud recording, AI human detection, and Alexa integration.
Yes, Vuebell is completely free to download and use on Android. Core features including live video streaming, two-way audio, motion detection alerts, night vision, and local SD card recording are available at no cost. Cloud storage plans are optional paid add-ons.
Vuebell works with Netvue-branded smart home products including the Vuebell WiFi Video Doorbell (Model N1-4111), Netvue Belle AI Doorbell, Netvue IP Security Cameras (Home Cam, Orb Cam), Baby Monitors, and Smart Sockets. The app does not support cameras from other manufacturers.
Download the Vuebell app from Google Play, create an account, and follow the in-app setup wizard. Make sure your doorbell is powered on (hardwired connection required) and your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. The app will guide you through pairing step by step. Note: 5GHz WiFi is not supported.
No subscription is required for basic features. You get free motion snapshot storage for 30 days (3 images per event). Cloud video recording with up to 7 days of storage is available as an optional paid subscription. Local SD card recording is always free.
Vuebell devices only support 2.4GHz WiFi — they cannot connect to 5GHz networks. Ensure your router broadcasts a 2.4GHz signal and your phone is on the same network during setup. If the issue persists, try factory resetting the doorbell and restarting your router. Contact [email protected] for assistance.
Yes, Vuebell supports Amazon Alexa integration. You can use voice commands to view your doorbell camera feed on Alexa-enabled devices like the Echo Show. Enable the Netvue skill in the Alexa app and link your Vuebell account.
Currently, Vuebell does not have native integration with Google Home or SmartThings. The app works exclusively within the Netvue ecosystem. Alexa is the only supported voice assistant platform.
AI Human Detection is available as a Lab Feature in the Vuebell app. Go to the device settings, look for 'Lab Features' or 'AI Detection', and enable it. This feature requires App version 5.9.0+ (iOS) or 4.4+ (Android) and works on 1080p-capable devices.
There is no dedicated Vuebell desktop application for Windows PC. The app is designed for Android smartphones and tablets. On Mac, you may be able to run the iOS version if available via macOS with Apple Silicon.
Vuebell encrypts data in transit and allows users to request data deletion. The app collects personal info, location, and other data types as disclosed on Google Play. Review the full privacy policy at netvue.com for details on data handling practices.
New updates make this app AMAZING! Motion zones (it'd be nice if the grid were finer), sensitivity, etc. Thanks for all your hard work! Latest version allows answering calls. Would be nice to change ringtone. Detects motion farther than they say!
I've been using this app for quite a few years now. I have a number of external and internal cameras, for the most part it works well however it is very slow to respond. After one update my live feed stopped working. Contacted support, they suggested uninstalling, rebooting and reinstalling. That fixed the problem.
Good app for the Vuebell doorbell. The motion detection zones are among the best I've seen — it divides the view into 12 segments you can individually toggle. Video quality is decent for the price point. Two-way audio works reliably.
Works well with multiple cameras simultaneously. The cloud storage option is reasonably priced compared to Ring. Night vision is clear and the push notifications are timely. The app could be faster to load the live feed though.
Solid doorbell camera app. Easy to set up and the motion snapshot feature is great — getting 30 days free storage without a subscription is a real bonus. The 166-degree field of view captures everything on my porch.
Vuebell does what it promises for the price. The two-way audio sounds like a real phone call which is much better than the walkie-talkie style on my old Ring. AI detection works well to filter out cars and trees. Wish there was a desktop version.
Decent app with good features for a budget doorbell. The motion zones are very customizable which I appreciate. Sometimes the app is slow to connect to the live feed, but once connected the stream is stable. Cloud plans are affordable.
Great value security camera app. The free motion snapshots for 30 days is unbeatable. Alexa integration works smoothly with my Echo Show. The infrared night vision produces clear images even in total darkness.
Using Vuebell with two cameras and a doorbell. App handles multiple devices well. The notification system is reliable — I always know when someone is at the door. Battery management info could be improved.
Happy with this doorbell app. Picture quality is good, the two-way talk feature is very clear, and I love the customizable motion zones. The app gets regular updates which is reassuring. Good budget alternative to Ring.
Looking for an affordable, feature-rich video doorbell app that doesn't require a monthly subscription for basic use? Vuebell is the companion mobile application developed by Netvue Technologies Co., Ltd. for the Vuebell line of smart WiFi video doorbells and IP security cameras. With the tagline "In Sight, In Mind", Vuebell transforms your smartphone into a real-time home monitoring hub — delivering HD video streaming, two-way audio, motion detection alerts, night vision, and cloud recording directly to your Android device. With over 10,000 downloads on Google Play, Vuebell serves homeowners seeking a budget-friendly alternative to premium doorbell systems like Ring.
Vuebell delivers real-time HD video from your connected doorbell or security camera directly to your phone. The live feed works over WiFi and mobile data, allowing you to monitor your front door, porch, or property from anywhere. All Vuebell-compatible cameras feature infrared night vision for clear footage in complete darkness, with automatic switching between day and night modes. The extra-wide 166° field of view on Vuebell doorbells ensures you see visitors from edge to edge without blind spots.
Unlike many competing doorbell apps that use walkie-talkie-style audio, Vuebell offers full-duplex two-way audio — allowing you to have a natural conversation with visitors without the press-to-talk delay. Use it to greet delivery drivers, instruct guests, or deter unwanted visitors directly from your smartphone.
Vuebell uses dual PIR and motion sensors for accurate detection with fewer false triggers. The app divides the camera's field of view into 12 customizable motion zones, allowing you to enable or disable specific segments to focus on areas that matter — such as your walkway or driveway — while ignoring trees or busy streets. When motion is detected, you receive instant push notifications with snapshot images.
Vuebell offers 24/7 cloud recording with up to 7 days of video storage for subscribers. For users who prefer free options, the app provides 30 days of free motion snapshot storage — capturing 3 images per event so you always have a visual record of who visited. Local SD card recording is also supported for continuous or event-based recording without any subscription cost.
With Vuebell App version 5.9.0+ (iOS) or 4.4+ (Android), you can access AI Human Detection through the Lab Features menu. This feature uses artificial intelligence to distinguish human bodies from environmental movement like trees, curtains, or passing cars — significantly reducing false alerts and ensuring you only receive notifications when it matters.
