With a low-power Wi-Fi camera or smart doorbell and the right companion app, you can monitor your front door and every corner of your home from anywhere. Onecam is the official mobile app from Shenzhen Zhilian Huitong Technology Co., Ltd. that brings comprehensive home security to your smartphone — offering real-time live monitoring, intelligent motion detection, infrared night vision, two-way voice communication, free cloud storage, and AI-powered recognition of people, vehicles, and pets.
What Is Onecam?
Onecam is a free home security app designed for both smart doorbells and Wi-Fi IP security cameras. Available on iOS and Android, the Onecam app lets you add compatible devices, watch live HD video feeds, receive instant motion detection alerts, communicate through two-way voice, and manage cloud or SD card recordings — all from a single, intuitive dashboard.
What sets Onecam apart is its strong focus on smart doorbell functionality: the app is engineered for ultra-low-power doorbells with rechargeable lithium batteries, supporting remote wake-up monitoring, instant push notifications, and real-time video calls with visitors at your door.
With a 2.1 rating on the App Store (75 ratings) and 3.5 on Google Play (794 reviews), Onecam has over 100,000 downloads and supports 11 languages including English, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, and Russian.

Onecam is a free home security app developed by Shenzhen Zhilian Huitong Technology Co., Ltd. for smart doorbells and Wi-Fi IP security cameras. Is Onecam free to use?
Yes, the Onecam app is free to download and use. Core features including live viewing, motion detection, two-way audio, and AI recognition are free. Free cloud storage for motion-triggered recordings is included. Local SD card recording (2GB–128GB) is also available at no cost.
Why won't Onecam connect to my Wi-Fi?
Onecam only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks — it will not connect to 5GHz. Also, your Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password must use only ASCII characters; Chinese characters and special symbols are not supported. For best results, use WPA2-PSK with AES authentication and hold the device close to the router during setup. If still failing, hold the Reset button for 6+ seconds until you hear a beep and the red light stays solid, then try pairing again.
How do I set up Onecam for the first time?
Download the Onecam app, create an account, and power on your compatible device. Tap 'Add Device' in the app and follow the Wi-Fi configuration instructions. For firmware upgrades during setup, make sure an SD card is installed — the upgrade takes about 5 minutes and the device must not be powered off during this process.
How do I share my Onecam camera with family members?
In the Onecam app, go to your camera settings and select the Share option. This generates a QR code valid for 30 minutes. Have the other person download the Onecam app, log in to their account, and scan the QR code to gain access. Shared users can view the live feed with access limited to what you allow.
How does free cloud storage work in Onecam?
Onecam provides free cloud storage for motion-triggered recordings. When your camera detects movement, the clip is automatically uploaded to secure cloud servers at no cost. You can view, replay, and download cloud recordings within the app. For local backup, SD cards (2GB–128GB) are also supported.
Why is my Onecam device showing as offline?
Common causes for offline status include: the camera or doorbell is out of battery or unpowered, the Wi-Fi router has been restarted or the password changed, the device is out of Wi-Fi range, or the signal is too weak. Check power supply, verify the Wi-Fi password hasn't changed, and ensure the device is within range. For 4G-enabled models, also check the SIM card and mobile data balance.
Why is my SD card video not playing?
For reliable SD card playback, use a high-speed branded SD card rated Class 10 or higher. Supported sizes are 2GB to 128GB in FAT32 format. SD cards larger than 32GB should be formatted through the Onecam app before first use. Low-quality or counterfeit SD cards are a common cause of recording and playback failures.
How do I reduce false motion alerts in Onecam?
Go to motion detection settings in the app and lower the sensitivity from High to Medium or Low. Avoid pointing the camera at air conditioning vents, glass doors/windows, objects that sway in the wind, high-traffic public areas, or areas with direct sunlight — these are common sources of false triggers. The AI recognition feature can also help by filtering alerts to only humans, vehicles, or pets.
Does Onecam work with Google Home or Amazon Alexa?
Onecam does not currently have built-in integration with Google Home or Amazon Alexa. The app is designed to work as a standalone system through the Onecam mobile app on iOS and Android. Check the official Onecam website (onecamapp.com) for the latest compatibility updates.

These cameras are good for monitoring and recording if you are right there when something is happening. Initially I too had problems connecting. Moving closer to my router resolved the issue. I recommend the cameras and find them a good value. I have had mine for 2 years and still going strong!

This camera brand was easy to connect and set up. I like it for my first time cameras it gets the job done.
App Store
I've noticed that when I first bought this Security Camera the app use to crash a lot and just bugs everywhere but now with the updates it's faster so thanks for that.

Everything works fine easy to use.
App Store
I had some difficulty getting this thing connected to the app, but after I inserted a memory card it works.
Google Play
This totally delivered for me. It gives you the sort of quality one would expect of a 2.4G based connection and then goes beyond your expectations for this price range. Hold this stuff literally next to your router and phone during set up is my main suggestion. Once I got past that this is an amazing product. Stunningly well done!

I'm well impressed with this CCTV, it does the job for me. It plays up now and again like the sound sometimes takes a few seconds to come on but other than that it's fine. The main thing is that you can catch thieves in the act. 10/10
Google Play
It's an 'ok' app. A bit sluggish and takes a little to connect to the camera. Took several attempts to set up initially. 2nd camera had problems but Tech Support resolved this for me. So I must rate support provided as good.
Google Play
App is better than the intercom on the camera. 5 months of use and the app works consistently for remote monitoring. The setup took some patience but once configured it runs reliably.
Google Play
The One Cam system worked fine for a good year. Motion detection and live viewing worked as advertised. The Wi-Fi setup requires patience but the app guides you through it step by step.

For users who prefer local storage, SD cards from 2GB to 128GB are supported (Class 10 or higher recommended for best performance). SD cards larger than 32GB should be formatted through the app before first use.

People — Identify human presence to trigger smarter, more relevant alerts
Vehicles — Detect cars and motorcycles entering your driveway or parking area
Pets — Monitor animals at home without constant false alarms
This AI-powered filtering helps you focus on what actually matters, reducing notification fatigue from ordinary motion like swaying trees or passing shadows.
