Introduction
Joysee — Remote Security Camera Monitoring App for Home & Business Surveillance
Keeping an eye on your home or business should not require expensive equipment or complicated software. The Joysee app is a dedicated security monitoring application that connects your IP cameras and smart surveillance devices to your smartphone, giving you real-time access to live video feeds, historical playback, motion-triggered alerts, and two-way voice communication — all from a single, intuitive interface. Developed by Tocoding Technologies Co., Ltd., Joysee is available as a free download on both the Apple App Store and Google Play, with broad device compatibility spanning iOS 12.0+, Android, macOS (Apple Silicon), and even Apple Vision Pro.
Whether you are monitoring a front door camera, watching over a sleeping child, or keeping tabs on a warehouse after hours, Joysee delivers the core surveillance features that matter most — without subscription fees or hidden costs.
Real-Time Alerts That Keep You Informed
Security is only useful if you know about events as they happen. Joysee sends instant push notifications the moment a camera detects unusual movement or a visitor approaches. These alerts arrive within seconds, not minutes, so you can assess the situation and respond immediately — whether that means checking the live feed, speaking through the intercom, or contacting authorities.
Alert sensitivity and timing are managed through the connected camera's firmware, and Joysee faithfully relays every trigger event to your device. For users managing multiple cameras across different locations, this centralized notification system eliminates the need to check each camera manually.
Live Video Streaming & Historical Playback
At its core, Joysee is a live video viewer and playback tool. Open the app and your connected cameras appear on a clean dashboard. Tap any camera to view its live stream in real time. The app supports up to (added in version 2.3.48), making it practical for users who want to monitor multiple rooms or entry points at once without switching between cameras.

How do I set up the Joysee app for the first time?
Download Joysee from the App Store or Google Play and create a free account. After logging in, tap the add device button on the home screen to connect your first camera. Follow the on-screen instructions to scan the QR code on your camera or enter the device ID manually, then complete the Wi-Fi configuration. The setup process typically takes just a few minutes. Make sure your camera and phone are connected to the same Wi-Fi network during initial setup.
Is the Joysee app free to use?
Yes, Joysee is completely free to download and use on both iOS and Android. There are no subscription fees or in-app purchases required to access the core features including live video streaming, SD card playback, push notifications, two-way audio, and device sharing. The app may display advertisements.
What devices and platforms does Joysee support?
Joysee supports a wide range of platforms: iPhone and iPad running iOS 12.0 or later, iPod touch, Android phones and tablets, Mac computers with Apple M1 chips or later (running the iOS app natively), and Apple Vision Pro with visionOS 1.0 or later. This means you can monitor your cameras from virtually any modern Apple or Android device.
Can I view multiple cameras at the same time in Joysee?
Yes. Starting from version 2.3.48, Joysee supports up to 5 simultaneous live video feeds on a single screen. This allows you to monitor multiple cameras — such as front door, backyard, nursery, and garage — without switching between individual camera views.
How do I share camera access with family members?
Open the Joysee app, navigate to the device you want to share, and tap the share button. Send an invitation to a family member or friend, and once they accept, they will have access to that device's live feed and alert notifications on their own phone. Sharing is managed per device, so you can control exactly who has access to which cameras. There are no extra fees for adding users.
Does Joysee support two-way audio communication?
Yes, Joysee supports two-way voice intercom on cameras equipped with built-in speakers and microphones. You can talk to visitors at your door, check in on family members, communicate with pets, or issue warnings — all directly through the app from wherever you are. The audio connection uses the same secure channel as the video feed.
How does SD card playback work in Joysee?
Joysee can access footage stored on your camera's microSD card directly through the app. Navigate to the playback section for any camera, and you can browse recorded clips by date and time. The app supports landscape mode for full-screen viewing, pause and screenshot capabilities, and smooth scrubbing through recorded footage. All playback happens over the network — you do not need to physically remove the SD card.
What languages does Joysee support?

Installed Joysee to keep an eye on the baby's room and the front porch. Setup was quick — scanned the QR code on the camera and was live in about two minutes. The video quality is clear and the two-way audio works well enough that I can talk to my wife through the nursery camera when I am at work. The new feature that lets you watch 5 cameras at once is really useful. Only thing I wish for is a timeline scrubber for SD card playback instead of browsing by clips.

I just needed a simple camera app that works and does not charge me a monthly fee. Joysee does exactly that. Live view loads fast, push notifications arrive within seconds of motion, and sharing the camera with my partner took about 30 seconds. No fancy features, no upsells, just a clean camera viewer. Exactly what I wanted.

Using this to monitor three cameras around the house. The multi-camera view is great — I can see the backyard, front door, and living room all at once. Night vision on the cameras comes through clearly in the app. The landscape mode for SD card playback is a nice touch. My only complaint is that reconnection after the app has been in the background for a while takes a few seconds. Otherwise it is solid.
App Store
Perfect for my apartment setup. I have one camera pointed at the front door and one in the main room. Joysee lets me check in from work anytime I want. The alerts are fast and the app is lightweight. I appreciate that it is completely free — no hidden subscription wall like some other camera apps I tried before.
App Store
Works well for the basics. Live streaming is stable and I get notifications reliably. The device sharing feature is useful for my family. Where it could improve: the app does not support motion detection zone configuration, so I get some false alerts from passing cars. Also, there is no web browser version for desktop monitoring. Still a decent free option if your expectations are reasonable.
Google Play
Installed cameras at my shop and using Joysee to monitor from home after closing. The app is straightforward — tap a camera, see the live feed, done. SD card playback is useful for checking what happened during the day. The two-way audio let me tell a delivery guy to leave the package at the back door. Good value for a free app. Would rate higher if they added cloud storage as an option.
Google Play
Shared the camera access with my parents and my sister. Everyone got set up in minutes. We use it to check on my grandmother who lives alone — the two-way audio means she can call for help if she needs it and we can see her right away. The Chinese language support is excellent. Very happy with this app.
Google Play
I work night shifts and use Joysee to check on my house and my dog while I am at the hospital. The app loads fast even on mobile data and the push notifications let me know immediately if there is any movement. The screenshot feature during playback is handy for capturing specific moments. Reliable and does what it promises.
Google Play
Been looking for a camera app that does not try to sell me a cloud subscription every time I open it. Joysee is refreshingly simple. Free app, local SD card storage, live video, and sharing. No gimmicks. The 4.7 rating on the Play Store seems deserved. My cameras have been running through this app for three months with zero issues.
Google Play
Decent app for basic camera monitoring. I rent and did not want to commit to a whole home security system, so a couple of cameras with Joysee works fine. Live view is smooth and alerts work well. The interface is clean but basic. I would like to see scheduled recording options and a dark mode for nighttime browsing. For a free app though, it is hard to complain.

five simultaneous video feeds
For reviewing past events, Joysee provides access to footage stored on the camera's SD card. The SD card playback interface includes a landscape mode (optimized in version 2.3.49) for full-screen viewing, pause and screenshot capabilities (added in version 2.3.45), and smooth navigation through recorded clips. This makes it easy to scrub through hours of footage to find the exact moment you need.
Two-Way Voice Intercom
Joysee supports two-way audio communication through cameras equipped with built-in speakers and microphones. This feature turns your security camera into an intercom system: talk to a delivery driver at the front door, check in on a pet, comfort a child in another room, or issue a verbal warning to an intruder — all from your phone, wherever you are.
The audio connection runs over the same secure channel as the video feed, ensuring your conversations remain private.
Device Sharing for the Whole Family
Home security is a shared responsibility. Joysee makes it easy to share camera access with family members, housemates, or trusted friends. Send a sharing invitation through the app, and the recipient gains access to the shared device's live feed and alerts on their own phone. Each person can install Joysee independently — there are no per-user fees, no shared logins, and no limits on how many people can view a shared device.
This is particularly useful for families where both parents want independent access to nursery cameras, or for households where multiple people need to monitor shared entry points.
Multi-Platform Availability
Joysee runs on a wide range of devices: iPhone and iPad (iOS 12.0+), iPod touch, Android phones and tablets, Mac computers with Apple M1 chips or later, and Apple Vision Pro. This broad compatibility means you can monitor your cameras from virtually any modern device in your household.
The macOS support is especially convenient for users who spend long hours at a desk — keep a camera feed open in the corner of your Mac screen while you work, without needing to pick up your phone.
The Company Behind Joysee
Joysee is developed by Tocoding Technologies Co., Ltd., with the Android version published by Tocoding International (Hong Kong) Limited. The company is associated with Shenzhen Xinshenghui Technology Co., Ltd. (深圳市欣晟辉科技有限公司), based in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. Tocoding maintains an active development schedule, with frequent app updates addressing bug fixes, UI improvements, and new features. The app is offered completely free of charge on both major app stores.
