iTronCAM — Official app for iTronCAM Super HD Wi-Fi security cameras. Live view, QR-code setup, two-way audio, activity zones, cloud AI detection of people, vehicles, pets, and packages, plus cloud playback. For iOS and Android.
iTronCAM is the official mobile app from ITRONICS LIMITED for managing iTronCAM Super HD Wi-Fi security cameras. It handles QR-code pairing, live view, two-way audio intercom, activity zones, siren/flashlight control, cloud playback, and cloud AI alerts for people, vehicles, pets, and packages.
Yes, the iTronCAM app is free to download and use on iOS and Android. Every new account includes 500 MB of free cloud storage (about 3 days of motion clips) and a 30-day AI trial. Larger retention plans (3 GB / 15 days, 5 GB / 30 days, 10 GB / 60 days) and ongoing AI detection are available as Basic, Plus, and Pro subscriptions.
Power on the camera and wait for the voice prompt. In the iTronCAM app, tap 'Add Device' and scan the QR code printed on the camera body. Pick your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, enter the password, and name the camera. The live feed should appear within a few seconds.
The most common cause is picking a 5 GHz network — iTronCAM cameras only support 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. Make sure your phone is connected to the same 2.4 GHz SSID, move the camera closer to the router during setup, avoid special characters in the Wi-Fi password, and verify the router isn't blocking new devices via MAC filtering.
With an AI subscription, iTronCAM detects people, vehicles, pets, and packages in the cloud and sends categorised push notifications. You can also use AI smart search to filter recorded events by object class — for example, 'show me every vehicle that entered the driveway today.' New users get a 30-day AI trial.
The free tier is 500 MB of cloud storage, which covers roughly 3 days of motion clips. Paid plans listed on the App Store include 3 GB / 15 days, 5 GB / 30 days, and 10 GB / 60 days of retention, bundled into Basic, Plus, and Pro subscriptions with monthly or annual billing.
Yes. The iTronCAM app lets you share access to a camera with up to 8 other accounts. Invited users sign in with their own email and can view the live feed; you stay in control of device settings as the owner account.
The official iTronCAM app does not currently advertise Alexa or Google Assistant integration. Live view, playback, and notifications are handled directly inside the iTronCAM app. Check the iTronCAM website for any smart home integration updates that may be added over time.
On the iTronCAM login screen, tap 'Forgot Password', enter the email you registered with, and follow the reset link sent to your inbox. If the email doesn't arrive, check spam/junk, then contact [email protected] for help.
The app is designed for the iTronCAM hardware lineup: battery-powered indoor/outdoor Wi-Fi cameras with 4MP Super HD resolution (2304×1296), 124° wide-angle lens, color or IR night vision, microSD backup, and optional solar panels. See itroncam.com for the current camera models.
Setup with the QR code was painless and the live feed from my driveway camera is sharp, even at night. The activity zones really cut down on useless alerts from passing cars on the street.
The AI detection on the paid plan is worth it. I only get notifications when a person or vehicle enters the driveway, not every time a leaf falls. Great battery life on the camera too.
I like being able to share cameras with my cleaner without giving out my password. The app is solid but the free cloud storage is very small — you'll need a plan if you actually want playback.
Using three iTronCAM cameras to keep an eye on my shop. Multi-camera view is smooth, and the two-way audio is loud enough to greet customers when I'm offsite.
The package detection actually works. I get a distinct alert when a delivery arrives at the porch, and I can pull up the clip instantly. Cloud playback is quick once you subscribe.
Bought the battery-powered iTronCAM for the back fence. Pairing was smooth, app is clean, and I love the siren button — scared off a possum last week with it.
Set it up as a pet cam. The AI correctly flags my dog so I can check in on her while I'm at work. Two-way audio has a bit of delay but it's fine for quick 'settle down' calls.
Paired it with the optional solar panel and haven't had to charge the camera in months. The app clearly shows battery level and signal so I know when to worry.
Works great when the cottage Wi-Fi is strong. Some connection drops when the signal is weak. The 2.4 GHz only requirement tripped me up on setup but once I used the right SSID it was fine.
Coming from a competitor app and iTronCAM feels simpler. The QR pairing, activity zones, and playback timeline are all easy to figure out. Paid plans could be cheaper but the free tier is enough to test it out.
Protecting your home or small business shouldn't require a steep learning curve. iTronCAM is the official companion app from ITRONICS LIMITED (New Zealand) for iTronCAM Super HD battery-powered Wi-Fi security cameras. It pairs cameras via QR code in minutes, streams live video, plays back motion events, and — with an optional AI subscription — sends smart alerts when it sees a person, vehicle, pet, or package.
iTronCAM is a free iOS and Android app that turns your phone into a control center for iTronCAM smart cameras. Add a camera with its QR code, set up to three custom activity zones, view multiple live feeds in one screen, talk through the two-way audio intercom, trigger the on-camera siren or spotlight, and share access with up to 8 other accounts. New users get 500 MB / 3 days of free cloud storage and a 30-day AI trial.
The app is built around the iTronCAM hardware lineup — indoor/outdoor, wireless, battery-powered Wi-Fi cameras with 4MP Super HD (2304×1296) resolution, a 124° wide-angle lens, color or IR night vision, microSD backup, and optional solar panels. Use it to keep an eye on the driveway, front door, backyard, or a detached workshop — anywhere a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi signal reaches.
Onboarding follows the same pattern used in the official user manual:
If you hit a snag, double-check that you picked the 2.4 GHz SSID, move closer to the router during pairing, and avoid special characters in the Wi-Fi password.
iTronCAM is built around a cloud-first architecture at itroncam.cloud. The free tier gives every new account 500 MB of cloud storage covering roughly 3 days of motion clips, plus a 30-day AI trial for smart detection. Paid tiers shown on the App Store listing include 3 GB / 15 days, 5 GB / 30 days, and 10 GB / 60 days retention, packaged as Basic, Plus, and Pro monthly or annual subscriptions.
The AI service is the real differentiator: it runs person, vehicle, pet, and package detection in the cloud so your camera can focus on capture rather than on-device inference. Smart search works by object class, letting you jump straight to "show me every time a vehicle entered the driveway today."
