Answering your front door shouldn't require you to be at home. With the Intelbras Allo app, you can see, talk to, and even let in your visitors from anywhere in the world — all through your smartphone. Developed by Intelbras S.A., one of Brazil's leading telecommunications and security companies, Intelbras Allo is the official companion app for the Allo series of Wi-Fi video intercoms (videoporteiros), turning your mobile device into a smart doorbell control panel.
What Is Intelbras Allo?
Intelbras Allo is a free mobile app designed specifically for Intelbras Wi-Fi video intercom systems. Unlike generic IP camera apps, Intelbras Allo is purpose-built for doorbell and intercom use cases — answering visitor calls remotely, viewing live video from your front door, communicating through two-way audio, and unlocking doors or gates wirelessly. The app works with the Allo w3, w3+, w5, and w5+ residential Wi-Fi video intercom models.
With a 3.6 rating on the App Store and 3.0 on Google Play, the Intelbras Allo app has over 100,000 downloads and supports 14 languages including English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, German, and more.
Core Features
The Intelbras Allo app provides a complete set of tools for managing your video intercom:
- Remote Call Answering — When a visitor presses your intercom doorbell, you receive an instant notification on your phone and can answer the call with live video and audio from anywhere
- Live Video Streaming with Night Vision — Watch a real-time HD video feed from your intercom's camera, with infrared night vision for clear images even in complete darkness
- Two-Way Audio Communication — Speak with visitors through the intercom's built-in microphone and speaker, whether you're at home or away
- Remote Door/Gate Unlock — Unlock your front door or gate remotely using the optional XR1 wireless relay accessory, without physically being present
- Automatic Visitor Recording — The system automatically captures photos and video clips when the doorbell is pressed, creating a log of all visitors
- Wi-Fi Setup — No complex wiring needed. The Allo intercoms connect directly to your home Wi-Fi network for easy installation
- Multi-Device Access — Multiple family members can install the app and receive doorbell notifications on their own smartphones
- Push Notifications — Get instant alerts on your phone whenever someone rings your doorbell or triggers motion at your front door
How to Set Up Intelbras Allo
Getting started with Intelbras Allo takes just a few steps:
- Download the Intelbras Allo app from the App Store or Google Play
- Connect your intercom to your home Wi-Fi network following the in-app setup wizard — the Allo intercom pairs directly over 2.4GHz Wi-Fi
- Install the hardware — mount the outdoor intercom unit at your door and optionally connect the XR1 wireless relay to your electric lock or gate motor
Once configured, you'll receive real-time notifications whenever someone presses the doorbell, and you can answer calls, view live video, and unlock the door directly from the app.
