Introduction
iCSee is a free monitoring security software developed by Zhejiang JAIFY Co., Ltd. / HANGZHOU JF SOFTWARE CO., LTD., designed to work with a wide range of network cameras including robot cameras, bullet cameras, and intelligent devices such as video doorbells and smart door locks. The iCSee app allows you to preview and control live video, receive motion detection and human tracking alerts, access remote video playback, and manage cloud or TF card recordings — all from your smartphone. As a white-label iCSee camera platform built on Xiongmai (XM) chipsets, iCSee supports WiFi smart cameras from dozens of OEM brands sold worldwide on Amazon, AliExpress, and other marketplaces.
Whether you are a homeowner looking for an affordable iCSee security camera solution, a renter needing a quick-setup WiFi smart camera system, or a small business owner monitoring multiple locations, the iCSee application delivers a comprehensive and user-friendly mobile surveillance experience.
How the iCSee App Works
The iCSee app connects to your cameras using cloud ID-based P2P technology or local LAN/Wi-Fi access. Simply scan the QR code on your iCSee camera to pair the device in minutes — no complex network configuration or port forwarding required. The app supports both Wi-Fi and cellular data for remote viewing, so you can monitor your iCSee cameras from anywhere in the world.
For users who want to use iCSee for PC, there is no official desktop client available. However, you can run the iCSee app on Windows or Mac using Android emulators like BlueStacks or NoxPlayer. Some iCSee-compatible cameras also support the XMEye or VMS software for desktop viewing, or web browser access via the camera's IP address.

Yes, the iCSee app is free to download from both Google Play and the App Store. The app is ad-supported, and optional cloud storage subscriptions are available for additional recording features. All core functions including live view, playback, motion detection, PTZ control, and two-way audio are included free of charge.
How do I set up an iCSee camera?
Download the iCSee app and create an account or log in. Tap the "+" button to add a new device and scan the QR code on your camera. Enter your Wi-Fi network credentials and wait for the camera to connect. Set a device password and name. The entire process typically takes 2-3 minutes using the QR code scanning feature.
Can I use iCSee on a PC or Mac?
There is no official iCSee desktop application. However, you can use Android emulators like BlueStacks or NoxPlayer to run the iCSee app on your Windows PC or Mac. Alternatively, some iCSee-compatible cameras also support the XMEye or VMS software for desktop viewing. You can also access some devices via their IP address in a web browser.
What cameras work with the iCSee app?
iCSee works with a wide range of OEM/white-label security cameras based on Xiongmai (XM) chipsets. This includes WiFi IP cameras, PTZ dome cameras, outdoor bullet cameras, panoramic bulb cameras, battery-powered cameras, video doorbells, and smart door locks. Many cameras sold on Amazon, AliExpress, and other marketplaces under various brand names are compatible with iCSee.
How do I reset an iCSee camera?
Most iCSee cameras have a physical reset button, usually a small pinhole on the bottom or back of the camera. Press and hold the reset button for 10-15 seconds until you hear a voice prompt or see the indicator light flash. The camera will reboot to factory defaults, after which you can re-add it to the iCSee app using the QR code setup process.
Why is my iCSee camera offline or not connecting?
Common causes include: 1) Check your Wi-Fi router is working and the camera is within signal range. 2) Ensure the camera has power. 3) Verify the camera and your phone are on the same 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network (most iCSee cameras don't support 5GHz). 4) Restart the camera by unplugging it for 10 seconds. 5) Update the iCSee app to the latest version. 6) Check if your internet service is active.
Is the iCSee app safe to use?
iCSee uses cloud-based P2P connectivity for remote access. For security, always change the default device password, use a strong unique password, and keep your firmware updated. The app encrypts data in transit according to the Google Play data safety section. For added security, consider placing cameras on a separate network segment or VLAN.
Does iCSee support cloud storage?
Yes, iCSee offers optional cloud storage subscriptions for recording video clips triggered by motion detection. Plans are available as monthly or yearly subscriptions with varying storage capacities. You can also use a TF (microSD) card inserted in the camera for free local recording without any subscription cost.

After hours of trying to get my two new cameras hooked up, I finally realized I had bought the wrong cameras for our router. They were a prime day deal. Once I got the right ones, the setup was incredibly easy with the QR code. The app works well for monitoring my front door and backyard. Push notifications are timely.

Great app for the price. I have 6 cameras running through iCSee and they all work perfectly. The live view is smooth, PTZ control is responsive, and the night vision quality is impressive. Cloud storage subscription is very affordable compared to other brands.
App Store
Works as expected for basic home monitoring. The QR code setup makes adding cameras a breeze. Two-way audio is clear enough for talking to delivery drivers. Only downside is the occasional ad popup, but nothing deal-breaking for a free app.
App Store
Decent camera monitoring app. Gets the job done for viewing multiple cameras. The playback feature works well for reviewing footage on the SD card. Could use improvements in the UI design and fewer ads. Motion detection sensitivity needs better calibration options.
App Store
I use this app to monitor my baby's room and it works great. The night vision is clear and the two-way audio lets me talk to my toddler. The motion detection alerts are helpful but sometimes too sensitive. Overall a solid free camera app.
Google Play
Excellent app for managing multiple security cameras. I've been using iCSee for over two years with 4 outdoor cameras and 2 indoor. The P2P connection is reliable and I can check my cameras from anywhere. The recent updates have improved the loading speed significantly.
Google Play
Good camera app overall. Easy to set up new cameras using the QR code scan. The live view is usually smooth on WiFi. I wish the motion detection zones were more customizable. The cloud storage pricing is reasonable for what you get.
Google Play
Best free security camera app I've found. Controls PTZ cameras perfectly, night vision looks great, and the alarm notifications come through quickly. Have recommended it to friends and family who also bought similar WiFi cameras.
Google Play
The app works fine for basic camera monitoring but the ads can be annoying. Setup was easy with the QR code. Video quality depends on your camera hardware. Works with multiple camera brands which is a plus.
Google Play
Solid security camera app. Works well with my 4 Xiongmai-based cameras. The multi-view mode is handy for checking all cameras at once. Push notifications for motion events are reliable. Would rate 5 stars if they reduced the ads.
