The app supports Bluetooth pairing, AP mode (direct connection), and router mode for connecting cameras.
Is HDWifiCamPro free to use?
Yes, HDWifiCamPro is free to download and use on both iOS and Android. The core features including live viewing, remote playback, two-way audio, and motion detection are free. The app contains ads. Optional cloud storage is available as an in-app purchase for users who want remote access to recorded footage.
Why won't my camera connect to HDWifiCamPro?
Common connection issues include: 1) Make sure you're using a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, not 5 GHz. 2) Ensure Bluetooth and location services are enabled. 3) Check that the camera is powered on and the LED indicator is flashing. 4) Try pressing and holding the MODE/RESET button for 5 seconds to factory reset the camera. 5) Make sure you've granted all required app permissions. 6) Move the camera closer to your Wi-Fi router during initial setup.
What cameras are compatible with HDWifiCamPro?
HDWifiCamPro works with various Wi-Fi security cameras that use the P2P protocol, including mini IP cameras, indoor/outdoor Wi-Fi cameras, and budget security cameras that support 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. The app is commonly used with cameras sold on Amazon and other online retailers that specify HDWifiCamPro as their companion app. Check your camera's packaging or manual to confirm compatibility.
How do I use the HDWifiCamPro SD card playback?
To use SD card playback in HDWifiCamPro: Insert a compatible micro SD card into the camera, then open the app and navigate to the playback section. You can browse recordings by date and time. Note that the app records in segments (typically 60-second clips), so you may need to review multiple clips to find a specific event. SD card recordings can be viewed remotely but downloading original files requires recording through the app.
Can I use HDWifiCamPro on PC or Mac?
HDWifiCamPro does not have a dedicated PC or Mac desktop application. On Mac, users with Apple M1 chips or later can run the iOS version natively through the Mac App Store. For Windows users, some people use Android emulators like BlueStacks to run the app, but this is not officially supported by the developer.
How do I reset my HDWifiCamPro camera?
To reset your camera to factory settings, press and hold the MODE/RESET button on the camera for about 5 seconds until you hear a beep or see the LED indicator change. After resetting, you'll need to set up the camera again through the HDWifiCamPro app. The default credentials after reset are typically username 'Camera' and password '6666' — change these immediately after reconnecting.
What do the LED lights on my HDWifiCamPro camera mean?
The LED indicator on your camera shows its connection status: a slow flash means the camera is disconnected from Wi-Fi, a steady light means the camera is connected and working properly, and a quick flash indicates the camera is attempting to connect or has encountered a connection error. If the LED doesn't light up at all, check that the camera is properly charged or connected to power.
Does HDWifiCamPro support motion detection?
Yes, HDWifiCamPro supports motion detection with push notification alerts. When the camera detects movement, it can send a notification to your phone. However, some users report that motion detection settings may need to be configured carefully within the app. If motion detection isn't working, check the sensitivity settings in the app and ensure notifications are enabled in both the app and your phone's system settings.

The camera in app seem to work with no problem except that I can't get it to detect motion. Also the iCloud feature is all in Chinese writing. Please include an English version of the iCloud feature.
Pricing InfoFree to download and use. Contains ads. Core features (live viewing, remote playback, two-way audio, motion detection, local recording) are free. Optional cloud storage available as in-app purchase.
App is alright if it only had ff/rrw edit and a way to cut out sounds, make talking louder and clearer without all the static sounds. Help with these features please, make the app and its features better.
Google Play
Decent app. A little clunky and it seems like it takes a lot more steps than it should to navigate. Would be great if you could download original recordings. Instead, you have to record the recordings and then download the duplicates. I'd personally rather download a recording and trim on my PC with editing software.
Google Play
Finally got it connected, direct wifi only, other options don't work. Manual says you can set the device recording time with an SD card, unfortunately that option is not available as shown in the manual, but it's not in the app, so you're left with nothing but 60 second recordings.
Google Play
Just bought these and it's hard to get to stay on, getting it set up takes awhile but it doesn't allow me to have both cameras on one phone. Doesn't even tell you how long it will stay charged, you can't even use the talk feature or the photo app.
