Upgrading rating from 1 to 3. This app was horrible the first time I tried it about a year ago. Nothing worked properly, and I switched to Owler. Now this app is MUCH better than it was, good functionality improvements — it works very fast inside my WiFi, and also works outside of it for remote monitoring. The camera overview still only offers snapshot still images and cameras cannot be rearranged, but by and large this app now works for me.

I've been using this app for four years now and it's simply great. I have purchased new Wyze cameras but my five of my six C1 cameras are still up and running for all this time with zero issues. The app connects all the time, either on WiFi or LTE. Sometimes if you open other apps after checking cameras, the app may not connect — the solution is to force close and reopen. It's not rocket science! This thing works.

Great app paired with the Foscam R2 camera. The cloud subscription is the way to go for recording. The SD card recording option also works well when configured through the camera's IP address on a computer. Good value camera with reliable app connectivity and features.

I researched all the big box names — qsee, LOREX, swan, Sanne, night owl, defend, zmodo. I found Foscam by researching on the App Store. I wanted an app to work well with my system and read so many good reviews. The big box product has great app support and the Foscam app works well with the camera system.

App is ok, some features are missing. The app updated to include human detection for selected cameras. I have two C1 cameras that should support this feature. The app overall does a decent job at basic monitoring and camera management, but could use more refinement on the feature side.

Camera was taking forever to load and was showing the same screen from 3 days ago. Finally went home and unplugged everything, plugged it back in. Result: still loads slow, but it's up to date and running. Speed is a little faster at getting to the live screen than before. Haven't had any other problems since.

I'm not sure why so many have problems. It is a bit hard to set up, but not unreasonable. I can reliably log into my camera at my dad's house across country through an old Android phone at any time. I have it set for motion alert to send me an email with pictures when someone comes to the house, which it reliably does. All without using the cloud service. Great bargain for light security monitoring. Love the sleep mode feature.

The app does what it needs to do for basic home monitoring. I have two Foscam cameras — one indoor and one outdoor. Live view works well on my WiFi network and the motion detection alerts are consistent. Night vision quality through the app is surprisingly good. Setup was a bit tricky initially but once connected it's been reliable.

The app could use a more modern UI but functionally it gets the job done. Cloud recording options are a bit limited compared to competitors.
