Introduction
Ebitcam — Cloud IP Camera Surveillance App
Looking for a reliable way to monitor your home, shop, or office remotely? Ebitcam is a mobile real-time video surveillance app developed by Shenzhen Ebit Information Technology Co., Ltd., designed for use with Ebitcam Cloud IP Cameras. Available on both Android and iOS, Ebitcam lets you view live video feeds, play back recorded footage, receive instant alarm notifications, and control your cameras — all from your smartphone.
Real-Time HD Live Viewing
Ebitcam's core function is real-time HD video streaming from your cloud IP cameras directly to your phone. Whether you are checking on your front door, monitoring a baby room, watching over elderly family members, or securing a retail shop, the live feed works over both Wi-Fi and mobile data. Compatible cameras support HD video quality with automatic infrared night vision switching for 24/7 clear footage.
Remote PTZ Control — Full Camera Angle Adjustment
For cameras equipped with pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) motors, Ebitcam provides remote PTZ control through intuitive touch-screen gestures. Rotate the camera horizontally and vertically, zoom in on specific areas of interest, and adjust the viewing angle — all from anywhere with an internet connection. This is particularly useful for wide-area monitoring in warehouses, parking lots, and large rooms.
Intelligent Recording and Playback
Ebitcam supports intelligent video recording that captures footage based on motion events or continuous schedules. Recorded video can be stored on a local SD card or in the Ebitcam cloud storage service. The app provides a convenient timeline-based interface for reviewing past events, so you can quickly locate specific incidents without scrubbing through hours of footage.
Yes, the Ebitcam app is free to download on both Android (Google Play) and iOS (App Store). The app includes all core features such as live viewing, PTZ control, two-way audio, and motion detection alerts at no cost. Cloud storage is available as an optional paid subscription starting at $14.99/month for 7-day loop recording across up to 8 cameras.
What cameras are compatible with Ebitcam?
Ebitcam works exclusively with Ebitcam-branded cloud IP cameras manufactured by Shenzhen Ebit Information Technology Co., Ltd. This includes indoor cameras, outdoor cameras, PTZ cameras, 4G LTE cellular cameras, and trail cameras from the Ebitcam product line. Check your camera packaging or manual for Ebitcam branding to confirm compatibility.
How do I set up an Ebitcam camera?
Download the Ebitcam app, create an account or sign in, then tap the add device button. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your camera to your Wi-Fi network. Most Ebitcam cameras support a simple plug-and-play setup — power on the camera, use the app to scan the QR code on the camera, and the camera connects automatically. For 4G LTE cameras, insert a SIM card and the camera connects via cellular network.
Can I use Ebitcam on a PC or Mac?
Ebitcam is primarily designed as a mobile app for Android and iOS. There is no official dedicated PC or Mac client. However, some users access Ebitcam cameras via web browsers or third-party desktop software. Check the official Ebitcam website (ebitcam.com) for the latest information on desktop support and available downloads.
Does Ebitcam support cloud storage?
Yes, Ebitcam offers cloud video storage with two subscription tiers: 8 cameras with 7-day loop recording at $14.99/month, and 8 cameras with 30-day loop recording at $34.99/month. Cloud storage keeps your footage safe even if the camera is damaged or stolen. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple or Google account and renew automatically.
Does Ebitcam support 4G LTE cameras?
Yes, Ebitcam supports 4G LTE cellular cameras and cellular trail cameras. These cameras connect to the internet via a SIM card and cellular data network, making them ideal for locations without Wi-Fi — such as farms, construction sites, hunting areas, and remote properties. You can view live feeds, play back recordings, and receive alerts just like with Wi-Fi cameras.
What should I do if my Ebitcam camera is offline?
If your camera shows offline, first check the power connection and ensure the camera's indicator light is active. Verify that your Wi-Fi network is working and the camera is within signal range. Restart both the camera and your router. If the issue persists, try removing the camera from the app and re-adding it. For 4G cameras, check that the SIM card is properly inserted and has an active data plan.
Does Ebitcam support ONVIF?
Some Ebitcam camera models support the ONVIF protocol, which allows integration with third-party NVR systems and video management software. Check your specific camera model's specifications or manual to confirm ONVIF support. Not all Ebitcam cameras include this feature.
How do I view Ebitcam recordings on an SD card?
Insert a compatible SD card into your Ebitcam camera before powering it on. The camera will automatically begin recording to the SD card. To view recordings, open the Ebitcam app, select your camera, and navigate to the playback section. Use the timeline to browse and play back recorded footage stored on the SD card remotely through the app.
How do I contact Ebitcam support?
You can reach Ebitcam support by email at [email protected] or by phone at +86-755-26518033. You can also visit the official website at ebitcam.com for additional resources, user manuals, and contact information. The company is based in Shenzhen, China.

I found an easier way to connect to the cam. It was so much easier to connect the camera to my personal hot spot 1st, then found it in the local search folder in the app. I then open the camera options and searched for my provider WiFi set up the connection then added it to my profile.

I've toggled many things and I can't get the sound to download with the video. The live view works fine and the picture quality is decent for the price. Wish they would fix the audio recording issue in a future update.
App Store
Solid app for basic home surveillance. I have three Ebitcam cameras watching my driveway, backyard, and garage. Push notifications come through quickly and the night vision is surprisingly clear. Cloud storage is a nice option but the SD card works fine for me.
App Store
Good camera app overall. PTZ control is smooth and responsive. I use it to check on my kids when I'm at work. The two-way audio lets me talk to them through the camera. Setup was straightforward — just scan the QR code and follow the steps.
App Store
Works well for monitoring my shop. I have the 30-day cloud plan and it gives me peace of mind knowing the footage is backed up. The app can be slow to load sometimes and the full-view display takes a moment to open, but once it's running it's stable.
Google Play
Works well overall with a few small bugs. If the camera won't connect due to the server being down or no internet access you have to search for local devices; it's not obvious how to switch between internet connected and local device as 'find local devices' is buried in the menu. Occasionally disconnects and won't load the feed.
Google Play
I bought two Ebitcam cameras for my warehouse and this app works great for monitoring them remotely. The PTZ control is responsive and the motion alerts are reliable. Picture quality is good in both day and night modes. Would give 5 stars if the app loaded faster.
Google Play
Decent camera app for the price. Live view works well most of the time. The cloud storage subscription is reasonable compared to other brands. My only complaint is that the interface could be more modern and intuitive. It gets the job done though.
Google Play
I use the 4G LTE camera with this app on my farm where there's no WiFi. Works perfectly for checking on livestock and equipment. The cellular connection is stable and the alerts notify me immediately when something moves. Exactly what I needed.
Google Play
The app does what it promises — live view, playback, alerts, and PTZ control all work. The two-way audio quality is acceptable. My main issue is that the app sometimes takes a while to connect to the camera, especially on mobile data. Once connected, the stream is smooth.
CompatibilityRequires iOS 11.0 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Android 5.0 and above.
