5GSee — Application gratuite de caméra de sécurité Android par JFTECH pour la vue en direct, le contrôle PTZ, les alertes de détection de mouvement, le stockage cloud et la lecture vidéo. Surveillez vos caméras IP de partout.
Yes, the 5GSee app is completely free to download and use from Google Play. All core features including live view, camera control, PTZ operation, motion detection alerts, and device management are free. The app contains ads and offers optional cloud storage subscriptions for cloud-based video recording.
To add a camera in 5GSee: 1) Download and open the 5GSee app. 2) Tap the '+' button to add a new device. 3) Scan the QR code on your camera or manually enter the cloud ID (serial number). 4) Set a password for the device and follow on-screen prompts to connect. The app uses cloud ID-based P2P technology, so no port forwarding or DDNS configuration is needed.
No, 5GSee is currently only available for Android devices on Google Play. There is no dedicated iOS version. If you need an iOS-compatible app from the same developer (JFTECH/JAIFY), consider using iCSee, which is available on both the App Store and Google Play and supports a similar range of Xiongmai-based cameras.
There is no official 5GSee desktop client. However, you can run the 5GSee Android app on a PC using Android emulators such as BlueStacks or NoxPlayer. Alternatively, many 5GSee-compatible cameras also work with XMEye CMS or VMS desktop software for Windows, which provides live view and playback on a computer.
If 5GSee cannot connect to your camera: 1) Ensure the camera is powered on and the indicator light shows it is online. 2) Verify your Wi-Fi router is working and the camera has a stable signal. 3) Try power cycling the camera by unplugging it for 10 seconds. 4) Check that you entered the correct cloud ID or QR code. 5) Ensure the 5GSee app is updated to the latest version. 6) If on cellular data, confirm the app has mobile data permission enabled in your phone settings.
Yes, 5GSee supports cloud storage for video recordings. You can subscribe to a cloud storage plan within the app for off-site video backup. Alternatively, you can use free local recording by inserting a TF (microSD) card into your camera. Both options allow you to access and review recorded footage directly in the 5GSee app.
5GSee is compatible with cameras and devices in the JFTECH/Xiongmai (XM) ecosystem that use cloud ID-based P2P connectivity. This includes WiFi and Ethernet IP cameras (bullet and robot/PTZ types), video doorbells, and smart door locks from various OEM brands. If your camera uses an XM-based chipset and connects via cloud ID, it likely works with 5GSee.
Some users report being locked out after firmware updates. To resolve: 1) Try resetting the camera to factory defaults using the physical reset button (usually a small pinhole button). 2) Re-add the camera in the 5GSee app using the QR code or cloud ID. 3) Set a new device password when prompted. 4) If the issue persists, contact JFTECH support at [email protected] for assistance.
Good app, but very few instructions (if any). It took me a week to find out how to save snapshots and videos to my phone's gallery. Functional once you figure it out, though. The live view works well and Ethernet support is a nice bonus for stable connections.
Works great with my bullet cameras. Setup was straightforward — just scanned the QR code and was viewing live video within minutes. PTZ control is smooth and responsive. I use it to monitor my driveway and backyard. Solid free app for basic security needs.
The app does what it says for basic monitoring. However, every major update seems to change the UI and sometimes locks you out of your devices. Had to factory reset my doorbell twice after updates. Please test updates more thoroughly before releasing them.
I have three cameras connected through 5GSee and it handles all of them well. The motion detection alerts are consistent and the video quality is decent for the price of the cameras. Only complaint is the app contains ads, but it's free so I can't complain too much.
Decent app for budget security cameras. The cloud storage works but I prefer using the TF card for local recording — it's free and reliable. Night vision viewing through the app is acceptable. The custom alarm tone feature with text-to-speech is actually pretty useful.
Been using 5GSee for over a year to monitor my small shop. Reliable connection, good video quality, and the QR code setup couldn't be easier. I share camera access with my business partner through the app. Does everything I need without paying anything.
Using this as a baby monitor with a PTZ camera. The pan and tilt controls work smoothly and I can check on my kid from anywhere. Push notifications for motion detection give me peace of mind. Wish there was an iOS version for my wife's iPhone though.
It's ok for what it is. The live streaming sometimes buffers even on good WiFi, but reconnecting usually fixes it. The playback feature for TF card recordings works well. I do wish the instructions were better — had to watch YouTube videos to figure out most features.
Very satisfied with this app. Connected four cameras in my home and can view them all from the main screen. The device sharing feature lets my husband also monitor from his phone. Free, functional, and gets the job done. Recommended for anyone with XM-based cameras.
Good companion app for budget Xiongmai cameras. I have both WiFi and Ethernet connected cameras and 5GSee handles both without issues. The encrypted data transfer gives some peace of mind about privacy. Would rate 5 stars if they added landscape mode for tablets.
